SUNDAY SCHOOL & NURSERY

HIGHLIGHTS - SUNDAY SCHOOL NEWS

Emmanuel Congregational Church, UCC, welcomes you and your family!  We place a high priority on the spiritual growth and education of our children, youth and adults.  Sunday School classes are held for all ages, from pre-kindergarten through adult.  There is a paid professional nursery staff available during Sunday School and worship to provide quality care for your littlest ones.

Sunday School classes begin at 9:30 a.m. using the popular "Seasons of the Spirit" curriculum.  Children move to the sanctuary at 10:45 a.m. for worship to hear a children's sermon from the pastors, or to perform themselves, singing or doing a skit for the congregation.  The youngest children then return to "Children's Church" activity time for the remainder of worship.

Adult classes meet in various rooms from 9:30-10:30 a.m.

FOR ADULTS & PARENTS

For adults and parents, a variety of classes are offered at the same time as the kids’ classes. The adult Bible Study Class is always offered by one of the pastors. In addition, a Contemporary Issues Discussion Class and a Parenting Support Group and Class are offered at different times in the year.

A special 4-week class for Newcomers is held two or three times a year immediately after worship with lunch provided.

YOUTH GROUP

Youth Group: Open to all 7th to 12th Graders. Meetings and programs occur monthly. Exciting mission trips and local programs and projects are planned. Call church office at 782-2650.

NURSERY

Superior quality nursery care is provided by our Nursery Director, Debbie Kehoe (and her staff), for infants and toddlers from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (Sept through June); in the summer, 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
