Our co-pastors, Revs. Ron and Patty Farr, a husband and wife team, have been guiding the congregation at Emmanuel since 1989.  Their innovative, egalitarian, spirit-led leadership style has enabled church members to discover their faith journeys and gifts, experience healing and forgiveness in Christ, expand their understanding of the scriptures, connect their faith to their daily life and work, and forge deeper and more loving relationships with each other and with God.

Revs Ron and Patty love to lead creative worship and preach, nurturing participation from the congregation through quiet moments of meditation, response panels, prayer and healing rituals, and children’s sermons. They are gifted at facilitating dynamic small groups and classes, Bible studies, book studies, contemporary issues groups, film discussion groups, and prayer groups throughout the year. They enjoy designing and leading periodic retreats for the church members and friends to nurture deeper community and faith exploration.
