EMMANUEL CHURCH PRAYER CHAIN

We have started a prayer chain at Emmanuel.  This means that if an important prayer concern is communicated to the pastors and prayers from the church family have been requested, everyone on the prayer chain can quickly be contacted.

Prayer requests may be sent to the prayer chain coordinator, who will send the request on to all participants of the chain.  You may also send an Email to emmanuelprayer@gmail.com if you would like to add your name to the prayer chain.  Be sure to include your name so that your membership may be properly registered.

2 Chronicles 7:14  if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

WE NEED YOUR PARTICIPATION

We hope that 40 - 50 people will agree to be on the prayer chain.  Please consider being on it and committing yourself to caring for others through prayer.  An important way that we show love to each other is by praying for one another.

GUIDELINES

  1. When receiving a prayer request, first write it down in order to maintain accuracy.  You might want to create a notebook or journal in which you record each prayer request including date and precise request.  When answers to prayers are e-mailed in, be sure to add them to your journal.

  2. Please be content with the details you are given. The goal is to provide you with enough information to pray intelligently - not to solve, dissect or discuss the situation with anyone except God.

  3. Continue praying each day for the prayer request for 2 weeks.

  4. A poorly run chain could lead to gossip, hurt feelings or worse!  Keep all information completely confidential.  It is critical that we insist on the privacy and protection of those who call in requests.
