Silent Meditation Group

This is a group for people who long to sit still, let go, rest in God’s grace, and awaken to transcendence. Led by Revs. Ron and Patty who are life long meditators and trained in both Christian Centering prayer and Buddhist meditation, this group meets in the sanctuary chapel area, 9:00-9:30 a,m. The group begins with a quiet reading of the scripture of the day, followed by words of spiritual centering, then 20 minutes of silent sitting.

The group is concluded with a brief time of intercessory prayer where participants can pray out loud about any concern that is on their heart. The group is open to all and instruction is always available to anyone who wishes to pray in the silence. Come, and feel the peace that Christ taught and that faith provides.
