Children's Church
To allow parents of little children to give their undivided attention to worship, we provide them with the Children’s Church program All children (except the littlest ones already in the nursery), attend the first 20 minutes of worship. After the kids hear the children's sermon by the pastors, or watch a clown skit or drama, or perform themselves a song or skit for the congregation, then those children in the younger grades (up to and including the 3rd grade) attend Children's Church for the remainder of worship. The older children sit with their parents or with an assigned adult shepherd.
The Children’s Church activity time is organized and led by our Nursery Director, Debbie Kehoe. The kids do arts and crafts, learning games, songs, and have refreshments. It is less structured than their Sunday School classes. Parents pick up their kids after worship between 12:00 and 12:30 p.m., and often then take them to coffee hour for refreshments.
