Emmanuel Community Garden

The mission of the Emmanuel Community Garden is simply put: to grow food and give it away to area soup kitchens and food pantries.  Our area food pantries generally have little fresh food to offer – most all their food stuffs come from cans. So the Emmanuel Community Garden provides them throughout the summer with fresh grown produce: lettuce, carrots, peppers, tomatoes.

Our Community Garden, using raised beds, is located on the grounds of the church, just off the main parking lot on 119 South Hamilton Street.  The Emmanuel Community Garden team meets every Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m. to weed, fertilize, and harvest. Come and help!  Roll up your sleeves and join in on the fun and the joy of helping others.  Ask for Mary and Linda at the church office at 782-2650.
